- 1). Insert the USB cable of the webcam into a USB port on your computer. A notification will show up as soon as you connect the webcam.
- 2). Insert the disc that came with your webcam into your computer’s DVD drive.
- 3). Follow all the instructions on the webcam installation setup to install the drivers and additional software for the webcam.
- 4). Restart your computer to finalize the installation. VoIP applications such as Skype and Windows Live Messenger will automatically detect your webcam as soon as you run them.
