How do I Install Games on an iPod?

    • 1). Access the Internet. Go to the iTunes download page.

    • 2). Click "Free Download" under the "iTunes 10" logo.

    • 3). Click the circle next to the operating system for your computer. You may be given just one system option to choose, or more than one option may appear. The iTunes program will automatically click the circle next to the most appropriate type of iTunes download for you if more than one option is presented.

    • 4). Click "Download Now."

    • 5). Choose "Save File" when the option appears in a pop-up prompt. Wait for iTunes 10 to begin installation. This may take between a few minutes and an hour, depending upon your computer and your Internet connection.

    • 6). Accept the terms and conditions of the QuickTime media player when the option appears.

    • 7). Place checkmarks next to the options that appear if you wish to enable them. These options include "Add iTunes and QuickTime shortcuts to my desktop," "Use iTunes as the default player for audio files," and "Automatically update iTunes and other Apple software."

    • 8). Click "Install" when prompted by your operating system to do so.

    • 9). Click "Finish" when "Installation Complete" or "iTunes Installer Completed" appears. This completes the installation of iTunes.

Connect your iPod to your computer using a USB cable or a FireWire. The iPod will automatically begin syncing to your computer. The words "Device Recognized" and "Syncing iPod" will appear on-screen during the syncing process. After the iPod has been synced, the iPod games on your computer will automatically be transferred to your iPod.
