Dom and Ed, the gamer assassin/black ops and Junpei the ninja, from Megatokyo, as featured on the cover of Volume 5
Dom(left, glasses)
A former classmate and friend of Piro and Largo, Dom works for Sega, a major game company. As the plotlines in Megatokyo have progressed, Dom has evolved from being "the friend in the gaming industry" to a slightly sleazy black ops agent for Sega with a seemingly endless arsenal of weapons at his disposal. In "real life," Dom also contributes the occasional crude stickman comic strip to Megatokyo on "Dead Piro Days" (days when Gallagher isn't putting out a new installment of the main story).
Ed(middle, with the big gun)
A friend, colleague and occasional adversary of Dom, Ed works for Sony, a rival gaming company. Like Dom, Ed also has an immense arsenal of weapons and tends to approach situations with a "shoot first, ask questions later" attitude. As an employee of Sony, Ed is also assigned to retrieve Ping, the missing Sony Playstation 2 Emotional Doll System accessory now living with Piro and Largo.
Junpei(right)
As part of the Ninja Corporation, Junpei is often employed by various government agencies in Japan. However, upon meeting and being defeated by Largo in a match of Mortal Combat (the video game), Junpei becomes fascinated by Largo's "L33T" skills and decides to align himself with the hapless American gamer. Junpei treats Largo like an esteemed master of the gaming and computer arts and is there to offer assistance, advice and muscle when needed.
