- 1). Hold the pieces right sides together and pin together.
- 2). Thread the yarn in the tapestry needle and tack down the yarn at the corner of the purse by pulling the yarn up through the pieces, leaving a tail of yarn to weave in later. Pull the yarn back down around the edge and up through the pieces again, leaving a small loop. Pull the yarn through the loop and tighten the loop.
- 3). Push the needle down through both pieces and pull the yarn back up, 1/2 inch from the first spot.
- 4). Push the needle down through both pieces 1/4 inch back from where the yarn is coming from now, and pull it back up 1/2 inch from where you pushed it down through the layers. Repeat this step until the seam is completed.
- 5). Weave in the ends on the wrong side of the piece and turn the piece right side out.
