- 1). Plug the RCA ends of the cable into the "Audio Out" ports on the DVD player.
- 2). Insert the 3.5mm end of the cable into the "Line-In" jack on the computer. This is the same connection used by a computer microphone.
- 3). Power on the DVD player and the computer, then click "Start," "All Programs," "Accessories," "Entertainment" and, finally, "Windows Audio Recorder."
- 4). Set "Line-In" as the audio recording preference, then press "Play" on the DVD player. Once the DVD begins to play choose "Record" in the program to record the audio. Select "Stop" at any time to record the audio. Click "File," "Save," and the title of the audio file. Choose a location to save it to and click "OK" to save the audio file.
