- 1). Put on eye protection and a dust mask. Place the melamine or white tile board on a smooth, sturdy surface. Cut the melamine or white tile board to your specifications with a circular saw. Then sand the board on the surface and around the edges smooth with sandpaper.
- 2). Cut out a section of dry erase contact paper with scissors that is four inches larger than the diameter of the melamine or white tile board. Use a tape measure to get a surplus of four inches on all four sides of the board.
- 3). Stretch and apply the dry erase contact paper over the sanded white tile board or melamine, pulling the excess around the board and adhering it to the back of the board. Consistently stretch and press out any air pockets as you apply the dry erase contact paper.
- 4). Cut picture framing to fit the edges of the board. Apply a bead of glue to the back of the framing and stick it to the board's edges. Place the dry erase board on an easel. Let the glue dry as long as recommended by the manufacturer.
