- 1). Dab rubbing alcohol on the ink stain with a cloth. Work from the edges of the stain toward the center. Use a new part of the cloth as the ink begins to transfer. Apply more rubbing alcohol as needed until the stain no longer transfers.
- 2). Spray cooking spray onto the stain and let it sit for a few minutes if the stain is still visible.
- 3). Brush the cooking spray into the stain with a toothbrush.
- 4). Wipe the stain up with a clean cloth.
- 5). Spray water displacing spray over the stain if you can still see it. Let it sit for several minutes.
- 6). Wipe the area up with a clean cloth.
- 7). Dab acetone onto the stain if it is still visible. Work until you remove all of the stain or as much of it as possible.
- 8). Draw over the stain with a dry erase marker. Dry erase marker ink will bond with the Sharpie ink and may make it easier to remove. This will not work for all types of helmets.
- 9). Let the ink sit for 10 minutes.

Wipe up the dry-erase marker and the Sharpie mark.
