- Both the TC-P58V10 (series V10) and the TC-P58S1 (series S1) are 58-inch 1080p HDTV plasma screen television sets. Neither are available for purchase directly from Panasonic as of October 2010.
- These televisions are very similar in size. They are both around 35 inches high, 56 inches wide, and 4 inches deep, and each weigh about 110 pounds, although the TC-P58V10 is slightly heavier.
- While both televisions have a 16:9 aspect ratio, HDTV display capabilities, and an anti-reflective (AR) filter, their display panels are slightly different. The TC-P58V10 has a progressive HD plasma display while the TC-P58S1 has a HD NeoPDP (plasma display panel), which is more efficient.
- Two full range speakers come standard on these television sets. The TC-P58V10 has a more advanced sound system including BBE VIVA HD3D sound, which the TC-P58S1 does not have.
- Viera Cast web interface, which allows access to online photos, videos, weather information, and stock information, comes built in to the TC-P58V10. It is not included with the TC-P58S1.
