- 1). Hold the stamp with two fingers. Each finger should be pushing a "Lock" button, which are the small red buttons on both sides of the stamp.
- 2). Push the base of the stamp towards your body. The white base of the stamp is adjustable and easily moved. Continue to push the "Lock" buttons as you push the base.
- 3). Move the base of the stamp towards you, and align the base with the body of the stamp.
- 4). Pull the back of the self-inking stamp open to access the ink cartridge. Gently pull at the back of the stamp until a panel pops out.
- 5). Insert a new ink cartridge into the back of the stamp, until the you hear it click into place.
- 6). Push the panel against the back of the stamp to close it. Place your finger on the panel and push until the panel is tightly closed.
