- 1). Write down the serial number and model number for the Goodman HVAC air conditioner unit. You will find the serial number and model number together on a steel plate fastened to the side, or top, of the unit.
- 2). Call Goodman Consumer Affairs at 1-877-254-4729.
- 3). Speak with a consumer affairs representative and provide the representative with the serial number and model number for your Goodman unit. The representative will be able to provide you with the month and year the unit was manufactured, as well as the plant at which it was manufactured. If your unit was manufactured in the last 10 years, as of November 2011, the representative also may be able to pull up the type of unit you have and give you the specs on the unit, including the capacity.
