- 1). Click the "Start" button and select "All Programs." Click on "Accessories" and select "Windows Sidebar."
- 2). Click the "+" sign to the right of "Gadgets" at the top of the sidebar. This will open the Gadgets Gallery.
- 3). Scroll through the gadgets displayed on the screen. Double-click a gadget and it will be added to the sidebar.
- 4). Click "Get More Gadgets" to browse for more gadgets. This opens the Personalize Windows Vista Sidebar web page. Click on "See all gadgets."
- 5). Find a gadget you want and click the "Download" button. Click the "Install" button to install the gadget on your system.
- 6). Click "Open" when the "File Download" dialog box appears on the screen. Click the "Install" button and the gadget will install to your sidebar.
