  There are many signs to show whether your spouse is cheating. While many of the signs are subtle, cheaters tend to create patterns. Your spouse may have all of the characteristics, or you may find he only conforms to a few. The most important part in finding out whether your spouse is cheating is learning how to identify these signs.
  
  

Isolation

• She no longer wants to attend social events, such as gatherings with your family and friends. Perhaps she always has an excuse to be somewhere else at the same exact time or is starting to find excuses when you plan one-on-one dates. This can be an easy way for her to get away to her new-found habit---she likely does not want to face you or your friends while she is committing this dirty deed.
  
  

Controlling Behavior

• Out of nowhere, he begins questioning your every move. He wants to know who you are texting or speaking to on the phone, and not just in a casual way. He acts genuinely concerned or upset until you tell him what he wants to hear. Sometimes he does not believe you when you are telling the truth. He may be controlling to take the attention and guilt off his very own situation.
  
  

New People

• You are starting to get wind of new names or telephone numbers appearing on the caller ID. Perhaps she is mentioning this name to her friends, co-workers or family members. When you ask her who this person is, she begins to give excuses about the unimportance of who he is, does not give many details, and does not suggest you meet him.
  
  

Phone Records

• For spouses on a family plan, checking phone records is as simple as logging into the account. Look for suspicious numbers that you do not recognize. Pay special attention to the times the phone calls took place in relation to where your spouse was at the time. If you are never around when these phone calls take place, it is a good indication that he is hiding something.
  
  

Visible Signs

• You may find the scent of another man on her clothing, such as cigar or cologne smells. Look for traces of unfamiliar hairs on her clothes, or "love marks" on her neck. Check her vehicle or other areas for receipts of suspicious places or papers containing unfamiliar phone numbers.
  
  

Computer History

• Look at his computer history and check for visits to singles websites, and social networking profiles that he frequents. If you find that he is viewing certain social networking profiles more than others, keep your eye on them. If he frequents singles websites, then it is a good indication he is either cheating or looking for the opportunity to do so.
