- 1). Download universal plug-and-play software (UPnP) for your Mac. This can be bought and downloaded from a number of sites on the Internet (see Resources) and enables the Mac to be connected to non-supported devices.
- 2). Turn on your PS3. Navigate to "Settings/Network Settings/ Media Server Connection." Select "Enabled" and press "X."
- 3). Open the "System Preferences" window on your Mac. In the "Other" section, double-click on your UPnP software. Click on the "Start" button to enable sharing.
- 4). Click on the "Devices" tab. Verify that either "PlayStation 3" or "Unsupported device" is listed in the pane. You can now share files with your PSP.
