- 1). Click "Start" and "Control Panel".
- 2). Click "Add/Remove Programs".
- 3). Click on the Service Pack 1 entry and click "Remove".
- 4). Click "Start" and click "Programs".
- 5). Click "Windows Update" to download and install a fresh copy of Service Pack 1, repeating the botched installation.
