- 1). Cut eight squares of paper all the same size, or use square sticky notes.
- 2). Fold one square of paper in half diagonally to make a triangle. If you are using sticky notes, make sure the sticky part is on the inside of the triangle. If you are using origami paper, or paper that is colored on one side, make sure the plain white side is on the inside.
- 3). Crease the fold well, then unfold the triangle. Fold the paper in half diagonally in the opposite direction to make a triangle again. Crease the fold well, then unfold the paper.
- 4). Place the paper on your work surface with the inside (sticky or white side) facing up.
- 5). Fold the two sticky corners toward the center of the paper, so that the paper is pointed on one end. If you are using plain paper, you may want to glue the corners in place.
- 6). Fold the paper in half widthwise. At the same time, push the straight end of the paper in toward the center, so that the paper forms a parallelogram.
- 7). Repeat Steps 2 through 6 for each of the other seven squares of paper.
- 8). Insert the closed pointed end of one piece of paper into the open end of another piece of paper, matching them up. Tuck the corners of the open ended paper inside the folds of paper to help hold the pieces of paper together.
- 9). Repeat Step 8 for each piece of paper, until all the pieces of paper are connected end to end, forming an octagon. Be careful not to tear the paper when inserting the last piece.
- 10
Re-tuck any corners that have come unfolded back in. Make sure to tuck them as tightly as possible to help the paper frisbee hold together.
