- 1). Click the "Start" menu at the bottom of your computer screen and then click the "Control Panel" option in the right pane.
- 2). Locate the Java Coffee Cup icon on your Control Panel screen. Double-click the "Java Coffee Cup" icon to open the Java Control Panel.
- 3). Click the "+" icon present next to "Default Java for Browsers."
- 4). Click the checkbox next to "Mozilla," "Netscape," "Internet Explorer" or any other browser that you use to enable Java Virtual Machine on those browsers.
- 5). Click the "Apply" button. The JVM will be enabled on the your computer and within your browsers.
