- 1). Power off your television and computer.
- 2). Connect one end of a VGA male-to-male connector cable to the female VGA input on your computer. This is normally labeled "PC input." On a Mac, the female input is labeled with a "display" icon.
- 3). Connect the other end of the VGA cable to the female VGA input on your TV. This should be labeled "VGA input."
- 4). Power on the TV and computer. Use your computer to "mirror" the same image on the TV that is on your computer screen, or "extend" your desktop to use your TV to drag certain windows on the screen that you want to share.
