- 1). Unplug all cables from the Belkin router. Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet.
- 2). Turn the hair dryer on to the lowest heat setting. Heat the label on the bottom of the Belkin router for two minutes. Turn off the hair dryer.
- 3). Peel the label off the router. Remove the screws that are exposed on the bottom of the router.
- 4). Slide the flat-blade screwdriver into the seam between the top and bottom halves of the router cover. Gently pivot the screwdriver back and forth around the entire seam to separate the case pieces.
- 5). Lift the top and bottom halves of the case apart to expose the internal components.
