- 1). Press and hold the "On/Off" button.
- 2). Wait for the "Power Off" message to appear on screen.
- 3). Swipe your finger down the screen to turn off the Zune.
- 1). Move the "Hold" switch to the "Unlocked" position.
- 2). Press and hold the "Back" button while simultaneously pressing the bottom of the Zune Pad.
- 3). Release the buttons when the screen shuts off.
