- 1). Disconnect your BlackBerry from your computer.
- 2). Open Microsoft Internet Explorer and go to the BlackBerry update page.
- 3). Click the "Check for Updates" button and save the file. Run the application when it finishes downloading.
- 4). Reconnect your BlackBerry to the computer when asked to select a device to connect to. Select your BlackBerry from the list.
- 5). Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update to BlackBerry software version 4.5
