- 1). Place the television close to where the satellite cable input is in your home. Connect the coaxial cable running from the satellite dish into the "In" port on the back of the satellite receiver.
- 2). Insert the RCA cables into the "Out" port of the satellite receiver and plug the other end of the RCA cables into the "In" port on the back of the television. Most newer televisions have several different RCA video "In" ports.
- 3). Connect a second RCA cable into the "Out" port on the DVD player and plug the other end of the RCA cable into a different video "In" port on the back of the television.
- 4). Power on all three electronic devices.
- 5). Press the "Video" button on the TV's remote. This switches the TV's tuner from the antenna input to the video input. Whatever device is connected to "Video 1" appears first. If you want to use the other device press the "Video" button again.
