- 1). Scrape the caulk slowly using a razor blade at a slight angle. Use care, as you can easily scratch the tile.
- 2). Put on rubber gloves and wet a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol or Goof Off Professional Strength. Dab it onto the caulk and let it sit for a couple minutes before attempting to wipe the caulk from the tile with a rag. Repeat until the caulk is gone, then wipe the tile with a wet rag.
- 3). Use a product made especially for caulk removal, such as Dap Caulk-Be-Gone or 3M Caulk Remover. The products will soften the residue and make scraping it off easier. Wipe the area with a wet rag when finished.
