- 1). Download the StreetPilot C3-Series Audio Software update (see Resources). This is free for download.
- 2). Install the StreetPilot C3-Series Audio software update by navigating to your download folder and double clicking the zip file containing your program. Winzip or another zip program will open. When prompted, click "Browse" and choose a location to save your file to. The default location is C:\Garmin, and is recommended. Click "Unzip," then close the zip program once the file extraction is finished.
- 3). Connect your Garmin to your computer by its provided USB cable.
- 4). Open the file you just unzipped and find ""StreetPilotc3xxAudio*.rgn" and drag it on top of the file named "Updater" software icon.
- 5). Click "OK." You can now use the same program you use to add maps to your Garmin to import wave files for use.
