- 1). Draw a circle for the main body, and a smaller circle for a head and a neck. To the right of the neck, outline a small left wing. For the right wing, draw a curved line that goes from the top of the left wing, down to the bottom of the circle. Draw a tail sticking out from the bottom right of the circle.
- 2). Outline feet at the bottom of the circular body. Draw a triangle for a beak and a small circle for an eye.
- 3). Draw feathers along the outside curve of the right wing. Add rows of feathers to the inner parts of both wings. Add claws to the feet.
- 4). Outline the rest of the body, starting with the head and following down to make the neck thicker. Smooth out the main body shape and use shading to create the texture of tiny feathers. Add feathers to the tail, with the longest part of the tail being in the middle.
- 5). Erase the circles that you drew to mark the head and body.
