- 1). Run a dry sponge over your furniture in a circular motion to lift up the pet fur. You can also put on a pair of rubber gloves and run your hand over the furniture to achieve the same outcome.
- 2). Remove as much of the dry fur as you can with your hand, and throw it in the trash.
- 3). Sweep up smaller dry hairs with the pet hair remover attachment on your vacuum cleaner.
- 4). Dip a rag in water, wring out most of the water and wipe your furniture with it to pick up the last of the fur.
