- 1). Turn off your Dell Dimension CPU.
- 2). Mix 1 part dish soap and 3 parts warm water in the sink. Dip a clean rag into the water and wring out thoroughly.
- 3). Spray a can of compressed air over your keyboard. Hold the sprayer 6 inches from the keyboard while spraying. You will notice dust and crumbs being blown out of the keyboard with ease.
- 4). Wipe the keyboard and tower with the damp rag.
- 5). Pull out any dust buildup from the fan vents on the back and sides of your tower, or use a computer vacuum if you have one on hand to quickly suck up the dust.
- 6). Wipe your computer monitor with a screen cleaner. Wipe with a screen-cleaning wipe, or mist a light coat of screen cleaning spray onto a microfiber cloth and wipe.
