- 1). Double-click the iTunes application icon to launch the application. Click the "File" tab and select the "Add to Library..." option to open the "Add To Library" window.
- 2). Click on the folder that contains the PDF file, highlight the PDF file and click the "Choose" button to add the PDF file to the iTunes library. If you are having trouble locating the PDF file, type the name of the PDF file into the search bar in the "Add To Library" window and press the "Enter" key. Then select the PDF file from the list of search results and click the "Choose" button.
- 3). Connect the iPhone to the computer' via the USB connection cable that came with the device.
- 4). Click the "Books" section of iTunes library to view the PDF file you added to the library in Step 2. Click on the PDF file and drag the file thumbnail onto the iPhone listed under the "Devices" heading. Allow several minutes for the transfer process to finish. Once the transfer process finishes, eject the iPhone from the computer.
