Brush your dry Ugg boots or shoes with a soft, natural-bristled scrub brush to remove white salt stain flakes from the suede fibers. The brushing motion helps remove matter from the surface of the boots so you can attend to salt stains that have absorbed further into the suede. - 2). Mix 2 tbsp. each of water and white vinegar in a bowl. Wet a clean cloth in the diluted vinegar solution. Wring out the cloth so it's wet, but not dripping.
- 3). Wipe the remaining white salt stains on your Uggs. Apply more diluted vinegar, as needed, and clean the surface of your Uggs to the point that the suede is very damp. The vinegar should absorb past the suede surface.
- 4). Press a dry cloth into the Uggs to soak up excess moisture. Continue to do this until no more moisture transfers to the cloth.
- 5). Fill the Ugg boots with crumpled newspaper, if needed, to hold their shape and absorb moisture while drying. Place the Ugg boots on a clean towel, away from direct heat sources. Allow the boots to dry completely.
- 6). Brush the boots with the soft scrub brush again to fluff the suede fibers.
