- 1). Insert two AA batteries into the eTrex GPS.
- 2). Press and hold down the "Power" button until the device turns on. The device will automatically self-test itself once it's on. After a few minutes the "Ready to Navigate" option will pop up.
- 3). Press the "Page" button, followed by the "Menu" button.
- 4). Press the down arrow to highlight "Waypoints" and then press "Enter."
- 5). Press the up and down button to select the tab for the desired waypoint that you'd like to set. Press "Enter" and then "GoTo." The eTrex will now take you to your desired destination.
