- 1). Drench a cloth with warm water. Pour two drops of stone soap onto the drenched cloth. Rub the soapy cloth over the etched marble surface to clean off any abrasive particles.
- 2). Douse another cloth with fresh water. Wipe the cloth over the marble to rinse off the stone soap and grit. Do not dry the marble.
- 3). Sprinkle 1 tsp. of marble polishing powder onto the etch mark. Spread the powder evenly over the dull area.
- 4). Rub the damp cloth over the marble in circular movements until the polishing powder and etch mark dissolve.
- 5). Buff the surface with a thick, soft towel until the marble is shiny and dry.
