- 1). Charge the battery that comes with your electric hand-held vial decapper. Plug the DC power supply into the crimping tool for the decapper every time you need to charge the battery.
- 2). Adjust the settings by pushing the positive and negative buttons. The negative button loosens the crimp that latches onto the vial top, and the positive or plus button makes the grip on the cap much tighter.
- 3). Place the decapper over the vial cap top.
- 4). Adjust the gripper to a tight position around the cap using the plus button.
- 5). Pull the cap off in one simple force. The motor will sound off so you know it has gripped the cap properly, and you will feel the force of the cap removal.
- 1). Hold decapper in your strong hand.
- 2). Place vial cap inside of the decapper "mouth".
- 3). Squeeze and pull the cap off.
