Guardian's DOMINATOR™ Surface Mount Traffic Wedge Barrier System Revolutionizes Aggressive Vehicular Access Control
TUCSON, AZ - Guardian Traffic Systems, a USA manufacturing firm based in Tucson, Arizona, designed and engineered a revolutionary new system for aggressive vehicular access control, the DOMINATOR™ Surface Mount Traffic Wedge Barrier System.
Unlike other traffic wedge barriers that lift up out of the road surface and require deep excavation, the DOMINATOR™ system has heavy duty steel frame construction and an aggressive, double-edged plate which is engineered to meet an intruding vehicle directly, distributing the full force of the impact over the entire wedge and frame system. The double-edged plate lifts up from the frame to a level where it destroys the front end of the intruding vehicle, stopping it dead in its tracks, then folds back down neatly against the frame.
The DOMINATOR™ system comes with heavy duty steel frame and double-edge wedge, continuous duty cycle motor, full-featured electronic circuitry, integrated gate arm boom, stop-and-go light, and optional LED lighting, and a one-year warranty. It integrates with all access control devices - pushbutton radio receiver/transmitter - intercom - telephone - keypad - card reader - RFID - AIPHONE - biometrics - token/coin, and access loops. It takes only 2.5 seconds to open or close the barrier system, and it can be set up for a manned or unmanned facility.
Optional items include hot-dipped galvanized or powder-coated finish, loops with loop detection, warning signs and posts, an audible warning system, a strobe warning light system, LED lighting strips, bollards and protective posts, CCTV systems with license plate recognition systems, all access control devices, and comes in optional widths up to 12 feet.
