- 1). Launch your Web browser and enter "http://192.168.1.254" into the address field. Then click "Enter."
- 2). Select "Firewall," and click "Settings."
- 3). Choose your computer from the "Select A Computer" menu.
- 4). Click "Allow Individual Applications" in the "Edit Firewall Settings For This Computer" menu.
- 5). Find the FileZilla application, select it and select "Add." This will allow FileZilla to get through the AT&T U-Verse firewall. Close the browser.
- 1). Open the FileZilla software. Enter the host name, or website name that you want to transfer the files to, in the "Host" field at the top of the interface.
- 2). Enter the username and password that you created when you purchased the hosting package in the corresponding fields at the top of the interface. Click "Quickconnect." FileZilla will connect to the server and list files in the "Remote Site" portion of the interface which represents your website.
- 3). Click on the "public_html" folder in the "Remote Site" menu. Double-click on the folder within the "public_html" folder where you want to transfer the file or files.
- 4). Go to the "Local Site" menu and double-click the folder that contains the files you want to transfer.
- 5). Double-click the file you want to transfer within that folder, and click "Upload" from the drop-down menu. The file will transfer from your computer to the server.
