- 1). Log in to your HostGator control panel. Refer to your original account registration email for the URL and login details.
- 2). Navigate to the "Software/Services" module and click the "Fantastico Deluxe" icon.
- 3). Scroll down to the "E-Commerce" section in the left-hand sidebar and click the "OS Commerce" link.
- 4). Verify that you have enough space on your account to install OsCommerce. The amount of disk space you have available is provided beneath the "New Installation" hyperlink.
- 5). Click the "New Installation" link.
- 6). Select a domain name from the drop-down menu where you wish to install osCommerce.
- 7). Create a new directory for your installation or leave this space blank if you wish to install osCommerce to your root directory.
- 8). Create an administrative user name and password.
- 9). Name your storefront and provide a contact email address to be used for customer support questions or concerns.

Click the "Install OS Commerce" button to finalize your installation. - 12
Write down your new installation details and administrative login information or provide your email address in the box provided to have it sent via email. - 13
Visit your new storefront and verify that it is live and that you can log in to the administrative backend.
