- 1). Disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet.
- 2). Lift the housing up and off of the humidifier base.
- 3). Pour out the water in the base into a sink.
- 4). Lift the filter up and out to remove it from the base.
- 5). Insert the new filter into the filter compartment.
- 6). Replace the humidifier housing. Make sure the housing is seated properly on the base.
