- 1). Place a lemon on a cutting board and cut it into wedges, because these will be easy to manipulate while painting. You can also squeeze the juice from the lemon into a bowl and use the juice as your paint.
- 2). Place thick paper, such as cardstock on a flat surface. Create a painting with the sliced lemon wedges. Use the lemon wedges to paint the surface of the paper. Create an interesting design to paint so you will be excited about your project. Brush the wedges on the surface of the paper so the juice is transferred to the paper. If using lemon juice, dip a paintbrush in the juice to create your painting. When finished, allow the painting to dry completely. The drying time will depend upon how much juice you added and how saturated the paper is.
- 3). Hold the hair dryer several inches from the paper. Use the low setting to apply hot air to the surface of the paper. Watch as the lemon juice turns brown and reveals your painting and its designs.
