The Tallahassee RV Park website states that pets are allowed as long as they are on a leash under 6 feet in length. The American bull dog, Rottweiler, German shepherd, and doberman are the breeds that are not allowed in the park. Overnight, weekly and monthly rates are available. Reservations, online or by phone, should be made at least 72 hours in advance.

The campground is open all year round and has cabins, tent and RV campsites available. Campers can fish for bass and catfish in the nearby lake. Water activities such as swimming, boating, fishing, and canoeing are also possible. Other activities include hunting and biking. Various items and services such as LP gas, firewood and telephone service are available for a charge. Reservations can be made online and by phone. Canceling a reservation will result in a $10 fee, as of 2010.
