Onsite amenities include a rec room, pool, laundry facility, horse shoe pit and shower block. Full hookups are available and if desired, a phone line can be installed. The RV pull through sites are extra long and paved. The Tallahassee RV Park website states that pets are allowed as long as they are on a leash under 6 feet in length. The American bull dog, Rottweiler, German shepherd, and doberman are the breeds that are not allowed in the park. Overnight, weekly and monthly rates are available. • Tallahassee East/Monticello KOA is an independently owned and operated campground located 19 miles southeast of Miccosukee, Florida. The campground is open all year round and has cabins, tent and RV campsites available. Campers can fish for bass and catfish in the nearby lake. Water activities such as swimming, boating, fishing, and canoeing are also possible. Other activities include hunting and biking. Various items and services such as LP gas, firewood and telephone service are available for a charge. Reservations can be made online and by phone. Canceling a reservation will result in a $10 fee, as of 2010.

Sugar Mill RV Park

• Sugar Mill RV Park is situated on 54 acres, with 131 RV and campground sites that provide full service. The grounds are 28 miles north of Miccosukee. Amenities include a coin operated laundry facility, free Wi-Fi, cable TV, and bathhouses. The campground also organizes special events such as a Bingo night and a fishing contest.
