The Knotty Pine Cabin offered by Wolf Creek is available for rent all year and is built to accommodate four people. The main floor of the cabin is a single open room with a queen-size bed, a modern bathroom, TV with satellite access and a full kitchen. Two twin-size beds are in an open loft above the main room. • For those seeking solitude, the High Shoals Cabins in Mount Ida are located 40 miles south of Waldron deep inside the Ouachita National Forest. With only four cabins available to rent, reservations are necessary and a minimum stay of two nights is required. All four cabins are built with a rustic image in mind but offer modern amenities, including: a full kitchen, an air conditioner for both the upper and lower levels of the cabin, satellite television and a DVD player, a barbecue grill, picnic table, and fire pit.
