- 1). Run Microsoft's "Malicious Software Removal Tool." To do so, click "Run" in the Start menu and type "MRT." This application comes pre-installed with Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000 and Windows Server 2003 computers. If the virus prevents you from accessing the Start menu, download a new copy of the program from the link in Resources.
- 2). Click "Next."
- 3). Select "Full Scan." Though this takes longer than the default "Quick Scan," it is more likely to find and remove the NooH virus.
- 4). Click "Next" and wait for the scan to complete.
- 5). Follow the prompts that appear to remove the NooH virus, along with any other bugs infecting your computer.
- 6). Click "Finish."
- 7). Restart your computer.
