- 1). Log onto the Windows Home Server using an account with administrator's rights.
- 2). Click "Start," then "Control Panel."
- 3). Right-click "Network Settings" and select "Properties."
- 4). Click "TCP/IP" and click "Properties."
- 5). Type in the IP address of the DNS provider in the Preferred DNS Server field.
- 6). Click "OK" to save these settings.
