- 1). Peel one corner of the tape from the wall using a plastic scraper or a single-edge razor blade. This will give you a starting point to peel the rest of the tape.
- 2). Plug in a hand-held hairdryer and activate the hot air. Hold the nozzle of the dryer three to four inches from the tape's surface.
- 3). Start near the corner you peeled and apply the heat evenly across the strip of tape. The heat from the hair dryer will dissolve the adhesive on the back of the tape.
- 4). Peel away the tape as the hair dryer dissolves the adhesive. If necessary, use your scraper or razor to separate the tape from the wall. Continue until the tape is completely removed.
- 5). Put away the hair dryer. Wash residual adhesive off of the wall with warm, soapy water and a scrub brush or rag.
