- The Corvette servo provides firmer and faster shifts out of the 4L60E; the larger surface area allows for a 50-percent increase in holding power in second gear. An added benefit of the servo is that is usually improves the life of the second gear clutch-pack.
- Installation of the servo requires a flathead screwdriver and a c-clamp. The servo is installed in the side housing of the transmission. It is accessed without the need to drop either the transmission or the transmission pan.
- You might lose up to quart of transmission fluid during the swap, so it is advisable to keep extra transmission on hand.
