- 1). Mix concrete cleaner with the appropriate amount of water according to the concrete cleaner manufacturer.
- 2). Apply the concrete cleaner to the concrete with a scrubbing brush.
- 3). Scrub away all of the oils, dirt and other debris from the surface of the concrete.
- 4). Rinse the concrete with clear water and let it dry thoroughly for several days.
- 5). Sand the surface of the concrete with 120-grit sandpaper. This will rough up the surface just enough so that the concrete stain will adhere to the surface.
- 6). Dip a paintbrush into the concrete stain and paint the entire surface of the concrete.
- 7). Let the concrete stain dry completely for four hours.
- 8). Apply another coat of concrete stain and let it dry completely. Let it dry for at least seven days before driving over concrete.
