- 1). Place a wheel block firmly into position in front of both the driver and passenger's side front tires. Raise the rear of the car with a hydraulic jack. Position a jack stand under each frame rail in front of both of the rear tires. Lower the hydraulic jack slowly until the car completely sits on the support arm of both jack stands.
- 2). Slide under your car to access the bumper. Along the bottom center of the bumper you should see two black plastic covers held in place by push pins.
- 3). Use a flat head screwdriver to lift the center of the push pin, starting on the driver's side. Grasp the push pin, remove it and take the plastic cover off to access the nut beneath it. Look directly above the bolt and you will see a round plastic cap. Pop the cap out of place with the flat-head screwdriver to access the nut beneath it as well. Remove both of the nuts with a socket wrench then repeat this step for the opposite side.
- 4). Slide over to the corner of the bumper near the wheel well. On the inside of the bumper, you should see three plastic clips that have a Phillips head screw in each of them. On the outer lip of the bumper--wheel well side--you should also see three Phillips head screws. Remove all six of the screws with the screwdriver. Repeat this process on the other side of the bumper as well.
- 5). Stand in front of the bumper and grasp it on the right and left side. Slowly and evenly pull the bumper off of your Accord Wagon then set it to the side of the work area.
