- 1). Soak a piece of unbleached cotton cloth with castor oil. Wring out the cloth to remove most of the oil. The size of the cloth will depend upon the surface area you wish to cover on your body.
- 2). Place the piece of soaked cloth flat where you want it on your body. For instance, placing the cloth on the abdomen could help with constipation or liver issues.
- 3). Cover the piece of cloth with plastic. Cut a plastic grocery bag and use it to cover the cloth.
- 4). Attach the plastic to the skin with medical tape. This will ensure the plastic does not slip off in the night, which would cause the smell of the castor oil to spread onto your bed and sheets.
- 5). Remove the tape and plastic the next morning. Discard the castor oil-soaked cloth.
