- 1). Spray down your brick porch with a pressure washer. This is the best way to remove stubborn debris or growths -- such as moss. Make sure you do not use a nozzle that has a streamlined spray nozzle or a pressure setting of 3,000 psi, as this high setting could damage your brick porch.
- 2). Put on a pair of rubber gloves and pair of goggles. You might also want to place a mask over your nose and mouth. Mix chlorine bleach and water in a bucket. About 10 percent of the solution should be bleach.
- 3). Dip a stiff, bristly brush into the solution and scrub the brick porch surfaces.
- 4). Wash off the porch thoroughly with a pressure washer or a garden hose.
