- 1). Mix five drops of dish washing liquid and two cups of warm water in your bucket to create a mild soapy solution.

Soak one white cotton cloth in the soapy solution and wring out excess water completely. Lay the white cotton cloth directly over the red popsicle stain on your carpet. - 3

Place your iron, set on low heat, over the cotton cloth and let it sit on the stain for 15 minutes. During this time, do not press down or move the iron back and forth. The heat will cause the stain to wick up into the dampened white cotton cloth. - 4). Remove the iron and white cotton cloth from the stain. Repeat the process with another cotton cloth until no more red wicks up into the cloth.
- 5). Rinse the area with a clean cloth dampened with plain warm water. Allow the area to air dry.
