- 1). Check the connections. Make sure the gas tank is properly hooked to the grill and the regulator valve and hoses are secure. They should connect the burners and gas tank.
- 2). Remove debris such as leaves or insects that could be blocking airflow and ensure lid is up before igniting burners. According to the Uniflame manual, blocked airflow or burners could result in explosion.
- 3). Open the gas tank valve by turning the valve lever. This allows the gas to flow to the burners.
- 1). Turn control knob that corresponds with proper burner in a clockwise direction and hold ignitor button until a flame appears. If the flame doesn't appear within a few seconds, release and try again.
- 2). Preheat the grill on high with the lid closed to retain heat.
- 3). Cook food on grill surface until the food is the desired level of doneness. Check meat temperature guides in the owner's manual for recommended internal temperatures.
- 4). Cook side dishes as desired on Uniflame's side burners. You will need a frying pan for these, as there is no cooking grate over the side burners.
- 5). Place cooked food on warming plates to maintain warmth while other food is being cooked.
- 6). Clean grill surface after it's cooled. Uniflame's porcelain cooking grates are designed to be easy to clean.
