- 1). Tap the Settings icon on the home screen, then tap "Wi-Fi." Move the Wi-Fi's switch to the right to activate it. Touch your network to connect the iTouch to the Wi-Fi network. Enter the network's passcode if prompted, then tap the "Join" button.
- 2). Tap the Contacts application on your iTouch's home screen. Tap "Favorites" or "Contacts" to locate the contact you wish to call with your device.
- 3). Tap the contact's name in the list, then tap "FaceTime" in the bottom-left corner of the contact card. The iTouch sends a FaceTime invite to the contact. He must accept the invite request before the FaceTime video conference begins.
- 4). Hold the iTouch in the palm of your hand, with the front-facing camera pointed toward your face, to chat with the other user.
