- Run the fishing line through the eye of the hook, lure, or swivel that you are tying.
- Twist the line around itself at least 6 times leaving enough of a tag end to create a loop. Guide the line back through the first loop close to the hook, swivel, or lure.
- Pass the tag end through the large loop. Slightly wet and pull the line tight to draw the knot together. Clip the tag end and you're done. You now know how to tie a perfect improved clinch knot.
